My project E-Static Soft Sensors is featured in the Luovuuden aalloilla / On the Waves of Creativity exhibition at Science Centre Heureka, Vantaa, Finland — produced by Aalto University in collaboration with Heureka.
The centrepiece of the installation is an electrostatic rug that builds up static charge through human interaction, which is then used to trigger an overhead lamp — exploring how static electricity in textiles can function as a sensing and interactive medium. Alongside the interactive piece, the exhibition makes the material development and hands-on research process central to the project visible to a broad public audience.
